RCC BIBLE INSTITUTE
“Equipping superiorly prepared leaders to fulfill the Great Commission”
In April 1978, Pastor Parson accepted the call of God into ministry. However, he did not have the opportunity to attend Seminary or have formal theological training prior to entering into full-time ministry. It was revealed to him by the Lord that the local Church could establish its own school for the preparation of ministers.
On December 4, 1983, Richmond Christian Center was founded. Pastor Parson believes God has given us an anointing to fulfill a mission that He has ordained: to preach and teach His Word in a spirit of faith. To that end, the Richmond Christian Center Bible Institute (RCCBI) started in the fall of 1988. RCCBI has given our students a solid foundation for obtaining a workable knowledge of the Word of God while imparting the capacity to believe what God says, as well as the ability to share what they believe with others.
“And he gave some apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers.” - Ephesians 4:11 (KJV). In the Amplified Bible, Ephesians 4:12 says, “His intention was the perfecting and full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people, that they should do the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body, the church.” RCCBI enables one who is not called to one of the five-fold ministry gifts to enter into the work of the ministry, that is, the proclamation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The vision and the mission of the Richmond Christian Center Bible Institute, “Equipping superiorly prepared leaders to fulfill the Great Commission”, epitomize the call of this ministry to the Body of Christ.
